After a successful season despite the spate of injury debacles that has plagued the multi-titled Manchester United team, the majority owners of the family of the Glazers themselves stood up and proclaimed that there is no truth to the rumor that they have been reading in the Daily Mirror about the successful ball club. It was reported that the Manchester United franchise is being held up for sale and from all indications; these will remain rumors as far as the Glazers are concerned.

“The Glazer family have a long-term commitment to Manchester United and that is not going to change,” said the spokesman.
“Quite simply, they are not interested in selling the club. Why would they?
“They are determined to make United more successful, both on and off the pitch.” Owners: Club not for sale
This should squash all news hungry tabloids who are merely jockeying for position to get a piece of the action. Manchester United is here to stay!

The sad thing about enjoying the game of football is seeing players giving it their all, regardless of whom they are playing for. But for Ryan Giggs, the choice to make a stand on whether to continue to play competitively and satisfy all his teams or focus on one league only is expected to be the major part of his expected announcement regarding the international scene.

From all indications, this season’s Euro 2008 Qualifiers seem to be his last hurrah and Welsh will be deeply saddened by his departure. Playing for the United Reds alone has its own share of wear and tear on the body and its mental aspect and Giggs is expected to stick with the Reds to uphold the winning tradition until his last game is played.
It is truly nostalgic to hear such developments but some people just have to decide on up to what extent their bodies and minds can sustain the abuse it can receive to maintain the competitive level they are known for.

For Sir Alex Ferguson, obtaining the Champions League Cup is the next stop for the United Reds. While they fell short due to injuries to a couple of their players, it is obvious that the team is headed in that direction and only time will tell. After talks of impending player transfers coming their way and leaving enough time for the healing period to its key players, it will be all systems go in the coming months as the United Reds will be once again in harness.

The Reds have proven to be a team to reckon with despite the various obstacles that the team has faced. Getting that far with what they have is an accomplishment that Ferguson has readily appreciated and lauded. One can just think of what would become of the Reds team once all players are up and about. A scary thought for their opponents and a wondrous one for Ferguson and company.

For Wayne Rooney, being a part of the United Reds team for the past years and bowing to Chelsea for the elusive Premiership title is a task accomplished after three tries. Nothing beats the feeling of triumph and success and for Rooney, cherishing and finally lifting the Premiership title is the sweetest part of his career.

After going through rough and tough competition, the hard work has finally paid off for Rooney and his Reds team. While there are still forthcoming tournaments that they will be facing, Rooney just like his other teammates would just want to savor the moment for now.
“There’s no greater feeling out there. It’s fantastic. It’s brilliant but really hard to explain. I’m absolutely delighted, I can’t put into words, it’s unbelievable.” “It’s a massive tournament for us to win,” said Wayne.
“We’ve had 38 tough games so to come out on top of that league is great for us. Hopefully we won’t have to wait for another four years to win it again.” - Rooney: No greater feeling

After sitting out the competition a little over a year ago due to injury, nothing beats the feeling of triumph the next time around. No other than Alan Smith cherishes the moment, being instrumental in helping the cause of the United Reds in bagging the Premiership title this time around.

But the season is not yet over as he still has to contribute in adding the FA Cup Winner’s medal at Wembley next week. But at the moment, lifting the Premiership trophy is all that matters and savoring the moment is at their foremost minds.
“We’ll enjoy tonight, but we’re looking forward to next Saturday and we don’t want to lose the first final at the new Wembley,” he said. “The lads in the dressing room are desperate to win it. We’ll be up for it.” - Celebrations sweet for Smith

The current psychologically enhanced war between Cristiano Ronaldo and Chelsea Manager Jose Mourino has been heating up but United Reds manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been making all efforts to put an end to the conflict, drawing a line to end all the fire that is slowly razing.

Fergusson calls it a tactic to break the streak and momentum that Ronaldo has been enjoying as of late. The below the belt remarks over media and the Chelsea manager has questioned the level of education and upbringing that the Reds star has.

But one bright note as far as Ronaldo is concerned is his control of not being drawn into the low morale remarks that is surely something no ordinary person would take sitting down. His manner of handling the situation is truly commendable and only shows his manner and level of principles in avoiding to be drawn in such a low blow exchange in the hot wind up of the Champions League.
