With another derby in front of us, probably the most exciting one every year, against the Dippers, what better way to preview with some older and memorable videos from the last years.

The Waiter Looks for Excuses Why Liverpool Might Not Win The League, AKA Rafa’s Epic Rant.

Long before Christmas Rafa Benitez launched an epic rant against Ferguson last season. After the rant Liverpool’s results started to get worse and worse. Once more it has been proven that the Achilles heel of Liverpool one Spaniard is. Fact.

Well we made it back to top.The match was played on Saturday so making a preview would not be relevant.Well if looking at the team we had against Bolton the man to the positions were pretty much straight forward.Giggs on left,Valencia on right,Carrick and Anderson in middle.Rooney was left off with his injury so Owen and Berbatov were paired ahead.

We could have struggled less had we kept on capitalizing all the chances created in both times.Though we had early goals in first half,we failed to produce any real time attempts in second half and got us nerve endings.Bolton though came back with one goal, they were harmless during major period of time.An easy fixture for United and decent results.

Nevertheless,we had something different going with the blues and the other reds.Liverpool were brought down at stadium of light even after playing massive 7 minutes of extra time.Sunderland scored one of the most bizarre goal of season with Darren Bent’s foot and deflection from a balloon. The game was more than watching a movie, full of events and different actions. The game was worth seeing.Chelsea game was another one that turned out to be unexpected.Villa took the blues after suffering from first goal. Some how they too managed to beat the shit out of blues scoring 2 goals. The week has been going great for me in-terms of everything.

Well i m right now enjoying the times of Diwali in beautiful country of India!!

welcome-to-the-end-of-your-careerYes, he’s at it again. Slowly the boy is becoming more annoying than the Sparky we know today. In a new episode (I could be wrong and it might be Whinge Episode 27144 already) the Argentinean escort loan player has now announced that contrarily to games against West Ham he will celebrate when he scores against Manchester United.

In the derby against United I had also decided not to celebrate our goals but, after the bad treatment I received from the supporters that day, I have changed my stance on that.

If I score in the next derby then I am sure that I will celebrate.

The emphasis here obviously is on when. We do not have to look far where he gets his inspiration from. There is the person we once loved and still want to respect but Mark Hughes has changed massively ever since he said at the press conference he was introduced as new Council House manager ‘I have played for other clubs as well’ but Tevez’s influencer is someone else. dimitar-berbatovThe Bulgarian record signing, who scored his second of the season on Saturday against Stoke, has hailed Ryan Giggs as the player who made the decisive impact at the Britannia Stadium.
The veteran United legend come on for the still inconsisted Portuguese Nani in the 60th minutes, only to follow up very quickly with a splicing assist Berbatov only had to tap in. The Red Devils took the lead and before the end whistle was blown Giggs had delivered a second assist which O’Shea nodded in.

Their is no doubt about the impact of the Welsh star this season and one can easily say ‘Who needs Cristiano Ronaldo? Mark Hughes does!’, but at the same time it is a rather disappointing and scary situation we are living right at the moment. One which could cost us the title if we don’t watch out. Edwin van der SarOur Doyen, Edwin van der Sar has said that contrarily to expectations his career might continue after this season. It was uttered that he would decided in December whether he would continue next season or not but today he told The Mirror that he still is hungry and will not retire before Manchester United have won the Champions League again.

The two times CL winner, with Ajax before he won the Cup with the Big Ears with the Red Devils, is not worried about the threat Real madrid could pose either:

I am not concerned by what Real Madrid have done. It is all about the team spirit. Eleven Cristiano Ronaldos wouldn’t lead to success.

The #1 United goal keeper, who is rumoured to return on the international stage with the Netherlands in South Africa next summer, also said some wise words about the Portuguese winger:

Of course, Ronaldo was a big player for us. And we have to change our team a bit now. But we will do that. United is a lot bigger than Ronaldo.

Carlos TevezOur favourite baby’s done it again. Once more he forgets to use his brain and slammed SAF. Carlos Tevez that is, who else?

“Ferguson is history for me but I know that he is scared of playing against us,” the striker told Globoesporte.

“It’s dangerous for Ferguson’s objectives and for him to criticise Manchester City.”

Here’s a wake up call for Tevez: why would Ferguson, who once faced the sack and since then conquered the Premier League and won 3 European titles, triumphing over Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Chelsea, all while equalizing Liverpool’s League record be scared of a team with lots of money? David Gill

After Ferguson’s announcement some days ago, David Gill has said that it is possible that ManUtd will continue to be active on the transfer market, even during the pre-season Asia trip.
Once SAF had declared that he would not sign anymore players the rumour mill has died up, but actual prices of certain players don’t seem to be as high as thought. Real Madrid has accepted a £15.5m offer from Stuttgart for Huntelaar which seems really good value. It is rumoured that the Dutch striker is holding out and hopes a Premier League club will make an offer. Spurs are said to be negotiating with Madrid, who would have to pay Ajax €6m if Huntelaar joins another club. I think Gill and SAF are already on the case, but we will not move for Ibrahimović because he is massively overvalued. So are Aguero and Villa.

gibson

21-Year old Irish international Darron Gibson has agreed a 3 year extension and aim to be involved more with the first squad next term.

Last season I enjoyed every opportunity and when I got my chance I wanted to prove what I could do. I hope to continue that this season.

Gibson made 14 appearances last season, scoring three times, one of them a hurler in the last game of the 2008-2009 season, against Hull. He also participated to the complete and winning Carling Cup final. Chances to see Gibson receive even more time on the pitch will probably increase every season as he is highly talented and has a very good position game. Continue reading »

hughes-cup

Ever when Mark Hughes, a former ManUtd legend who helped us achieve European glory, was announced at Eastlands I knew things would quickly deteriorate and ‘Sparky’ was on a path to destroy his status with the ManUtd fans. During his first press conference at The Council House he answered that he ‘had played for other teams as well‘ when asked if he thought there would be problems between him and Manchester United. Now he managed to drag our favourite whiner to the other side of town. But things are becoming totally ridiculous. Rumours say that Adebayor already passed a medical at Eastlands and will sign at City for a reported fee of £25m. That is still not enough for Sparky. Realizing that City has only invested in offensive talent he has been flirting publicly with Mr. Chelsea. sadly a reported weekly fee of £250k still haven’t convinced John Terry to move to a club who even did not qualify for the UEFA cup under Hughes and the City manager not has to beg publicly to convince the England international and Skipper, AKA Mr. Slippery, to make the move to Eastlands:

We would like to think we could offer him a different challenge

No truer word could be spoken in matters of challenges. Instead of challenging for the European Champions League titel Terry would have to compete to qualify for the UEFA cup, possibly using backdoors such as the Intertoto or Fair Play challenges. The whine continues: Continue reading »

tevez-shitty

Who had ever thought that the guy who once swore eternal loyalty to OT, AKA as Carlito Tevez, would try to backstab our staff and Sir Alex Ferguson as much as is happening nowadays?

Earlier this year the Argentinean said this about Manchester United and the backroom staff:

From the moment I arrived, he has treated me with respect as a person. His greatest quality is that, for him, there are no star players – everyone is equal, whether they cost many millions or are a young player who hasn’t played many times for the team. When I see him work he reminds me of Carlos Bianchi, who was my coach at Boca Juniors in Argentina. Both have had a big influence on my career, and both know how to treat people.

There was no sign about him wanting to leave but then the public whining started, mainly whenever he left the pitch. Outcries to the fans became more and more obvious and it started to become clear that he would leave. In June the news broke that he was offered a new 5 year deal at £120k/week, which he refused. Yesterday when he was announced at the Council House he said what his reason to leave Old Trafford were: Continue reading »
