This is coming from Ronaldo’s number 1 fan.

It has been long since this boy arrived.First stepping to the pitch i laughed and thought how many minutes with this thin kid stay on pitch. Why would Fergie buy such one for such high price ?But that was the only day i doubt upon him.I don’t know whether i was the only guy buying his T-shirt on the first day but that wasnt the day i regreted. He is the guy who carried the name “Ronaldo” to the fullest.

United has been a place where players were picked from no where and were made Legends in their serving time. But never has this team treated their players more than their club.It all ends to team and there’s which compromises with that. And players like Keano,Beckham,Van Nistelrooy have known that.If u can’t respect the team you rather leave it.

Its high time that we move out of this and plant new seeds. As The glazers have shown their intentions of keeping Ronny at the bench rather than him selling at Real and yes they mean it.But still its pointless.Keeping a player who doesn’t want to is waste of money and talent. Its a pain to see such players out of team but it would be ever harsh to see a talent like him dimense and fade away.We will still love him.I will still have dreams how he rescued us during difficult tasks and still will laugh how he kept posing during matches. But somethings have to end at some point.

Besides,It wasn’t Ronaldo who created United. Why do we have to cry for him.His intentions are clear for United. If he had been sure of staying at OT the answered would have been more clear and quicker atleast to get in head of futbol pundits. But he hasn’t for now.The fame puts mind in state of “more” and thats whats happening with him.

Its high time that we let our lives move on and stick with new plans. We still have lot of players and better talents may be even better than Ronaldo.

Fergie just leave him if he wants to.

Well said mate. I totally agree with you. If Keano,Beckham,Van Nistelrooy left the club because they saw themselves bigger than the team then Ronaldo should be allowed to go if not kicked out of the team for not standing up for the team. What has prevented him from stating definately his desire stay and OT. Is Fergie softening up now because it is Ronaldo. Fergie did not soften up on Keano,Beckham, and Van Nistelrooy and shouldn’t go easy on Ronaldo. Ronaldo is only playing the way he is today because of the teachings of the United trainers and we can have another Ronaldo anytime. Ronaldo will loose his appeal within 2 years after leaving OT. Ronaldo is not bigger than United. Lets sell him to the highest bidder and bring in Quaresma for less. Quaresma is a fantastic player already and with the master touch of the United training staff and Fergie, he will be bigger than Ronaldo within 2 years. We all saw Ronaldo when he first came to OT. Stars will come and go but United will always be the best team in the world. Anyone who wears the United 7 jersey is will be a star. UNITED FOR LIFE!

Dude well said.I totally agree with u.But remember its sometimes thats within u and all those guys did have with them.It wasn’t that the players totally lost their touch and fame but could have been even greater at United.

But there’s something that Keane said which perfectly suits the situation.
“Great players have left the club and one day i will too.”
Thats the reason why we have such rich history and bright future.I sure Fergie will bring out a solution and won’t make kind of mistake this time . :)

I think nowadays no player can be stopped from leaving a club even if he still has years in his contract. This situation means that contracts are becoming scraps of useless papers especially for the bigger stars. Ronaldo must be on the alert not to follow in the path of Owen and Beckham. Still he should be allowed to go – Ricahrd Coleiro

I wouldnt want anyone playing for utd that isnt 100% behind the club and focused on it. if he doesnt respect utd for what theyve turned him into (the best player in the world) then he doesnt deserve to play for us. if he really doesnt want to stay, then sell him for as much as hes worth, (consider his age, ability, fame, attraction and reals apparent determination to sign him – worlds first £100M+ player?) and fill the gaps that appear in the team? i.e. quality right back, hitman striker and new winger. with the money in the kitty and the glazers backing, it could be a truely all star team to make ronaldo wish he never left and Real cry into their chequebooks

Well said dude ! I am a fan of ManU and all who play for ManU ..no one is bigger than the club ..players who are really proud of playing for ManU SHOULD ONLY PLAY and all others could leave .

@ richard :- yea players are thinking of contracts as if they are their marriage contracts and can get rid from the club with their agents. But i think Fergie is not the one to be messed with.Real should atleast be aware with that.Remember what happen’d to Heinze ? Besides we have switching players in and out with Real so i think they won’t agree on anything which United doesn’t.

@ unitedtilldie :- If player isnt 100% for team its quite useless. But for Ronaldo its
    Ronaldo = Winger + Mid-field master + Striker + and a decent defender
Thats why this bullshit is going on :)
To some extend u are correct.Lets see if Real can trade us Van nistelrooy and Robinho both for Ronaldo ;)

@ Vignesh:- All others too ? a little of pride is valid dont u think ??

I have been a ronaldo fan ever since he played for my favorite team Sporting Lisbon You can make a player stay at a club if they want to play for a team the have wanted to ever since they where kids then let them follow there dreams ronaldo has wanted to play for real and so has his parents so i say sell him and buy another decent young player like quaresma, moutinho, Veloso or Bastian Schweinsteiger there are much more players who can become like ronaldo with the right trainers Silva frim real is quality and with the money man utd can get of ronaldo is plenty to buy lots of different players

  8. Jordan Fernandes on June 23, 2008 8:08 am

    u meant can’t make a player

  9. Jordan Fernandes on June 23, 2008 8:08 am

i meant cant make a player

  10. Aisha on June 25, 2008 10:21 pm

If he knew he didnt want 2 stay for long he shouldn’t have signed a long term contrat, and with all the rules today no one cares about the contract players can do wat they want. But if wants to go let him with the money real is willing to pay we’ll new players and the team will be even stronger and ronaldo will regret. And more even we’ll see if real will trade us Van Nistelroy Robinho Snijder and with the money we’ll get we can quaresma and the russian kid (cant remember his name) and others. I mean ronaldo is not the only great football player in the world.

  11. drvynum on June 28, 2008 1:16 am

@ Jordan Fernandes Sort of correct that u cant make players, but what is with Ronaldo is a different story. No one could have guessed that some day he will be a talk more than his nation.Besides i don’t see a player to be made but a player to be trained and thats what United has done to him.It takes time and perseverance to crave a gem out of rock and u won’t like it if it doesn’t get what u want. But yea we can leave stories behind and start a new frame.Buy a new player but this trend really is not good for Good teams and Coaches.Certainly a feast for teams like Real.:)
@ Aisha:- Even if we are able to trade Robinho and Van Nistelrooy for Ronaldo its a bargain.Besides Snijder is quite old so he wont leave real for now.
