Upcoming game with Arsenal “most important game”

January 29, 2010 By red devil

manU arsenalFootie fans should earmark the upcoming Manchester United – Arsenal clash because Sir Alex Ferguson has declared that it is their “biggest game of the season.”

While the Red Devils secured a finals slot in the Carling Cup last Wednesday against Manchester City, back at the PRemier League, Chelsea was able to wrest the top position from the Reds and with still another match slated. This means that Manchester United sees the Arsenal clash as a must-win at this point. Especially since Sir Alex sees Arsenal as a big obstacle in getting a record fourth consecutive title.

A win is important since with two matches, Chelsea could potentially get four points ahead of the Red Devils, and Sir Alex doesn’t want to play catch up with a relatively big margin. And with Arsenal potentially in the running as well, they will do all they can to thwart ManU — the ingredients of an epic battle.

Manchester United 4, Hull 0

January 24, 2010 By red devil

BRITAIN SOCCERIf there’s still any doubt that Wayne Rooney can ably fill the big shoes left by Cristiano Ronaldo, it was erased with the stunning 4 – 0 routing of Manchester United against Hull. Rooney scored all four goals against Hull and this has resulted in the Red Devils speeding up the ranking tables and becoming the top team in the Premiership League.

Rooney scored the first goal a mere seven minutes into the game, with a hit on a rebound after Paul Scholes’ long range shot was saved. He would then explode with three goals that he would fire off within the span of less than ten minutes late in the game. The three goals, which came in at the 83rd, 86th and 90th minutes were astonishing and brought the Manchester United faithful to its feet. Rooney’s four goals in the game, his first ever, brings his season total to 20 goals. Rooney’s consistency has brought the Red Devils two points clear at the top of the Premiership League table.

Hopefully, Rooney’s amazing performance this season and the Red Devils enjoying the top spot will be enough to ease the tension in Old Trafford because of the debts the team is suffering from — to the tune of 700 million pounds at present.

After a successful pre-season now the fun is over and a new long and hopefully glamorous seasons awaits the Red Devils, with the kick off at 15.00 at Wembley in London.
For the second time in 3 Community Shields only we face Chelsea at the start of the season. I would gladly sign to start the Season in the same manner and there is something special about taking spot kicks against the Londoner Rent Boys. [Read more…]

West Ham United v/s Manchester United (Match Preview)

February 8, 2009 By Redhead

So what we got today.Hammers are up and we are facing with full strength. There has been few stories running short around United but that keeps us unaffected. The tales of David Beckham are spinning back and lots of new stories are showing positive sides of Ferguson being interested with him.Though for now he stays out of our team and we head to Upton Park.

Liverpool playing two games ahead of United are at 54 points and leading the the table. However that keeps us unaffected with our standings.Winning last six games in a row and scoring 14 points in our last 6 away games there’s no reason that we should drop points.Facing Chelsea and Liverpool this is more like a pie for United.

Rooney will be hopefully at bench.Fergie won’t be going any easy for dropping points here so you cannot see any suprises. He will stick with 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 for time being.Hammers are without their stars D.Aston and K.Dyer that reduced our pressure.

Match starts at 1600 GMT and i hope you are going to watch this game.

PS:- Our Duos,Alex Ferguson and N.Vidic bagged both Manager and Player of the month award.

Just two days back on 6th of Feb,United farewelled there great heroes who died in Munich crash.

The draws for the FA are finally out and guess who are we meeting. The Gunners are going to visit us at Trafford for the fifth round of the FA finals in mid FEB.Well they have been for quite a time United’s worthy opponent and have made almost every encounter into a classic match.

The last time that we faced them in FA finals was back in 2005 at Trafford.Well the results were dissapointing from United’s sideĀ  but the match worth watching. These areĀ  matches which dont set off till they completely finish those given 120 minutes plus the 5 penalties. Its like a never ending conflict.Believe me watching such matches at stadium is worth every penny.
