supporting our team through thick and thin....

Man Utd v/s Celtic (Champions League Preview)

October 22, 2008 By Redhead

Ohh shit.. I didnt even knew that we had Celtic match today!!! Clock’s running too fast for me these days and thought it was Monday.Well though i would still like to make few points for Today’s tie.

Against Celtics,we are without Ronaldo and Evra.Evra is injured during Albion game while Ronaldo is kept off as he’s still “recovering” from injury. The team at present looks in perfect shape so we won’t miss them too much.Evra will be replaced by O’Shea while for Ronaldo we have plenty of options.

Tevez is back,Anderson is there and Nani too is working pretty nice on wings.I think this is an easy encounter with United in such form.Celtics are without Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, Georgios Samaras and Chris Killen which makes their situation more worse.

United are likely to go easy with this fixture keeping in mind with their back to back away games.Manucho,Rafeal n all other youth teams can be experimented against Scotts. They can be tested perfectly in these situations as they are one those teams who are not that strong or that weak.

I am looking for goals from Rooney,Berbatov or Fletcher.Fletcher’s hard work for team has been immense in his last 3-4 games and i hope he scores. His confidence isn’t yet at peek like its with Ronaldo and Rooney.Once he reaches there we can see a new breed of player coming in.
That same is with Berba.Though his class is different than any player at United.Berba is a gem and its good that we got him.

I think Thats all for tonight.I will try my level best to come with Live Scores.

My Prediction:-
2-0 (Rooney,Berba/Tevez)
