Manchester United v/s Chelsea Match Preview

September 21, 2008 By Redhead

Another game in this sick week.We are facing blues at their home,a place where they haven’t been grounded once in last 4 years(on other hand United faces two defeats in 3 weeks).Being invincible at home i still feel today United’s pulling a win.Why here’s a reason.?

Anfield was shame and VillaReal was pathetic. Its time that Fergie has thought too much where he’s lacking.Today his roll as manager will be tested to limits.Rooney,Tevez and berba are one of the three men which i feel won’t start together.Possibly it will be Tevez pairing Rooney or Berba pairing Rooney. But as Berba shows impressive form against Chelsea and Rooney hardly missing any start,Rooney-Berba is a possible choice.Nani-Ronaldo are playing on flanks and can be switched with Hargo-park in halfs.Carrick and Anderson are back but we are without Vida.
Today’s pick will be the defense. We break we lose,we sustain we win.Tactically Chelsea are way powerful in mid may be stronger than United. Its hard to match them over mid so if we some how cope up with defense we have possible chance of winning.Though mid-field is also a key feature for today’s treat,United still are clumsy at back.

Ronaldo-Carrick-Anderson-Nani are tonights perfect men.I think this formation is the only possible United has to save their ass for tonight.Scholes and Hargo both should be rested.Gary too should be avoided as far as we have Brown.

A real test for our lads today. If we lose we go into United’s history as worst start since 1971 and also squeezing our dreams for third title.
A win will make a difference to this whole season.
My prediction is 2-1
