supporting our team through thick and thin....

Newcastle United v/s Manchester United (Match Preview)

February 23, 2008 By Redhead

Newcastle v Man Utd
St James’ Park Saturday 23 February
Kick-off: 1715 GMT

An away game at St James’ Park.Losing derby match against City and earlier tieing against Tottenham has made United into a pressure situation in terms of points.Losing here at any stage can make us pay even more.Right now in the table United are 6 points behind the league Shitters Arsenal.Well they are facing Birmingham in their way away game.I dont think Birmingham has any chance of even drawing against Gooners, even though playing out with Eboue.

United’s last match against Newcastle was fest for our fans.6 goals including a hat-trick from Ronny and a double from Tevez.Losing against City has made us mentally weaker against other teams and have gained their part of confidence to play United rather than playing half scared.Still i think we can easily manage a win or at last a draw.Newcastle are playing without Striker Obafemi Martins but we they have N’Zogbia.United has all reasons to win and even sharing points would be equal to a defeat.Though our stats against Newcastle hardly say that we are losing but still matches ain’t decided on stats.
The possible team for today’s line -up:-

Man Utd : Van der Sar, Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Ronaldo, Anderson, Scholes, Hargreaves, Giggs, Rooney, Tevez, Kuszczak, Saha, Carrick, Nani, O’Shea, Fletcher, Park, Simpson
