Ferguson banned for 2 matches

December 15, 2007 By Redhead

Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has been banned from touchline for two matches by the FA .United boss admitted that he used abusive and insulting words at referee Mark Clattenburg at half time during the match at Reebok on 24th of Nov.

Ferguson has been also charged 5000 pounds as he didnt attend the final hearing of the judge. The ban starts on December 28 which means that Ferguson will miss the trip to West Ham and the one against Birmingham.

Sir Alex also didnt bother for any personal hearing or any requests. He openly admitted that he used abusive words at Referee and he did that because he was not at all happy with referee.

Sir Alex still unhappy with the referees quoted..

Some referees don’t like it. They don’t like the truth. But I just told him how bad he was in the first-half.Standards must be slipping because there have been some bad tackles recently, not just in our games but in quite a few others.
And what happens then is that if someone gets seriously injured, who gets the blame? The referee gets the blame

The good part is that we Wont be missing him in the next important fixture at Anfield. :)
