Tommorow’s trip to Eastlands might become the most difficult game of the season for us. Sven will play a very thight defense and unspectacular game, but that’s nothing new for Mr. Eriksonn. Rare will be the threats for our defense and probably again we’ll rule the midfield.
What bothers me most right at the moment, especially for this trip, is the huge number of injured players: Rooney, Hargreaves, Ole, Saha and Anderson. We surely could have used them tomorrow, and with it still being too early for Neville and Cronaldo among the spectators for 3 games, hopefully we won’t pick up any more injuries tomorrow.
Biggest problem for our defense will be to stay concentrated, especially on those rare moments newly City star Bianchi will get the ball. No changes are to be expected, the quartet Brown – Vidic – Ferdinand – Evra have played well on Wednesday and will start tomorrow.
With the absence of both Hargreaves and Ronaldo it looks we’ll play a proper 4-4-2 tomorrow instead of the 4-2-3-1 we’ve played last 2 games. Hopefully Giggs will find his favourite left wing. I’ld love to see Carrick and Scholes in the center, with Fletcher on the right. Both Giggs and Scholes will be the important guys tomorrow, no one knows the derby weekend pressure better than they do, and after the criticism both have received for their performances I think they can and will make the difference tomorrow.
It will be hard again to score goals for our strikers tomorrow. Tevez surely will start and hopefully Nani can show why he deserves to wear the ManU badge and will give Dunn and Richardson a tough time. Hopefully Tevez will score his first one for United, his performance at the end of last season has shown that he deals very well with pressure. And what was a better prove of this than his goal at OT?
Predicted Lineup: VDS, Brown, Rio, Vidic, Evra, Giggs, Carrick, Scholes, Fletcher, Nani, Tevez.
Subs: Kuszczak, O’Shea, Eagles, Dong Fangzhou.
Prediction: 0 – 3.
