United preaching one step closer to another FA finals as Tottenham grounded at Trafford.
I still cant believe that i missed the first 9.30 minutes of play and was busy in computer.Thanks to my friend that i was able to get back at my TV.So here it goes.
Well to be fair Spurs were the better team in the first half compared to us.It isnt the first time this season that our mid-field hasn’t been upto the mark.Despite of having Premiership’s best mid-fielders we still are struggling for a player who can consistently bring out what Paul Scholes and Keane used to do.
Tottenham started drifting the game towards their side and it was making matters difficult at back.For one ocassion Rooney cleared the ball from the line.Had he not been there it would have be a sure goal.
Spurs first goal came with no time.Lennon with his phenominal pace was able to pass Evra and passed the ball across to Keane. Brown and Rio simply admiring left the Keane to only guide the ball.This possibly proves on point that we are pointless at back with Vidic and ew still need to improve at back.
United fought back ,not actaully themselves from a miss judged ball which was left uncleared by Spurs defense who made their first flaw of the game. Giggs blocking the defender giving ample time for Tevez to smash for the equalizer.
The game was still swinging on both the sides.Well could have bet on both the teams put still it wasnt done.In all these going,a long ball from EVS ending up in Spurs section was handled by Spurs defence,Dawson.With no time wasting, he was sent off and United were awarded the penalty.Ronaldo cool as sucumber converted this into United’s second.Well still cant remember which was the last match he went without scoring.
Well Paul Scholes made his appearance in this match and boy i had some relief.Didnt get much of him but that was expected.The match was almost over and yet Ronaldo wasnt done.In 88 minute with his sublime skills he converts another one for United making a total of 3 goals for night and his 2.Well not those perfect performances but still a deserving one.We are going for another match in this weekend and so i wont make this one lose my first minutes.
