Manchester United v/s Derby County

December 9, 2007 By red devil

Old Traffordright
Saturday, 8 December
Kick-off: 1500 GMT

An easy win against Fulham at Old Trafford and another one coming with same conditions.Manchester United are facing Derby County this saturday at Old Trafford. No worries for Sir Alex for sure.No injuries with any players and fully fit.
The match i suppose is going to be a physical encounter so perhaps decided to rest Rooney and Ronaldo for the big test against Liverpool.United can play well with the reserves for example Eagles and Simpson can work well in the team.Fletcher has been out of touch after his injury, this one can prove him beneficial to get his confidence back.
Derby are right now rock bottom to position no 20.They haven’t lifted from their last spot after they were newly promoted.Manager Paul Jewel thinks that he still has a lot of time to gain few points and get himself out of relegation zone.A few transfers and signings in January can boost their momentum.
United have clean record in Premier league.
We have won 15 of 18 in all competitions and lost just one of 12.
Won 10 of the last 12 Premier League matches.
Kept clean sheets in eight of the last 12 league outings.

Derby may be out of race if we take a look at these facts.
Highest achievable after Saturday’s matches: 20th
Lowest could fall: 20th
Own the poorest offence in the Premier League (five goals scored, at one every 270 minutes
on average) and the weakest defence (34 goals shipped, at one every 40 minutes on average).
The only club with just one Premier League victory so far this season (from 15 attempts).

This makes even more easier on papers.
United winning this one for sure.
3-0
Rooney,Ronaldo,Tevez
