Is Fergie falling due over-confidence ?

September 20, 2008 By Redhead

United seems different this season.Things started to wear off ever since the Ronaldo saga came into lime-light.First a big controversy whether Ronaldo should go or not.And then whether he whats to play or not ?.He went on keeping every one on edge and finally decided to stay at United.Pointless but did affect everyone indirectly.
And if Ronaldo wasn’t enough,Berba came into picture.United has been affected by one or the other reason.Whether it be transfer problems or injuries. To add more we also lost our reliable Quieroz whose contribution was defining to our last season’s triumph.
In days back during Mourinho,Fergie was an alert man.He used to sense problems pretty early and was making necessary statements or action to get rid of it.United had one thing in brain during that time.If u want to win,win from first game.
But this time around Fergie didnt work any good. There was no enthusiasm in transfer window nor did we worked out well in our games.UFEA nights are always pumping for any United soul but this time it burned everything for me.
First games are all important. You capitalize them and you play remaining matches at ease which also reduced your error precentage which we saw last year.
Also with Fergie he is not going hard at all.His anger is less,he’s hardly rotating right players at right time nor is he interacting too much with his assistant coach.I think the thirst for trophy is over.Getting back to back was may be enough for our men.
Or may be its our over-confidence thats breaking us ?

Anyway guys,Ronaldo is back which is good for this point.Stanford Bridge is our next game.Watching Anfield game, we have all reasons to fear.Scolari’s men dont look vunerable.May be this time blues have more desire than red
A difficult game that we are facing in our difficult time.

But after all these harsh going and tough years,Alex Ferguson did manage to spring back [Read more…]
