supporting our team through thick and thin....

Ronny surpasses 40,United one game away

May 4, 2008 By Redhead

So its only one game remaining to party.Since the game Chelsea, the players have pushed themselves on the edge and don’t seem to compensate on any odds.Since its more than 24 hours to game i may presume that u guys have read about the match review in much depth. But i will keep it simple rather than applauding United with  common adjectives.

The game was by far the best of this month. The placid atmosphere at OT is vanishing and the crowd is going loud than ever. Two of our lads playing against their ex-club+ this being the second last game to League it was quite an occasion, which the teams didn’t want to spoil it.

Early with the period of 3 minutes Ronaldo’s footie surpassed Hammers defense and drove United’s first goal.Watching Neil delaying Ronaldo till end was quite funny. The falling back visualized it as if the Players are getting scared of him or trying to safe in case Ronny makes them look silly.Even Green didn’t like the #7 coming close .Any how he slipped the first goal past the goal and Ronaldo couldn’t help laughing.

The goal wasn’t the first misery Hammers were going to have.United second goal came no later after 25 minutes, thanks to a deep curler from Hargo finding Ronaldo in free position. One first impression i thought he might have scored with his *thing* and just kept wondering how strong he was.But then later, I  corrected myself watching the replays. But any how it was his brilliance to covert the goal from nothing.Even the best strikers in world fail to do and Ronaldo did it with ease. That was his goal number 40.Quite unstoppable!!

Tevez didn’t want to disappoint his EX with nothing to show.He added United’s third on 26 minutes with a vicious strike from 25 yards so great that even the visitors made a second look at this man.Crowd enjoyed and so did i.It was a feast going on and i could only predict any thing wrong for United.

Some how they managed to snatch a goal in their bad times.D.Aston created a bizzare goal for his team striking an over head kick dodging one of our Best defender.Poor compared to  Ferdi’s standards but goal looked  spectacular to even entertain our people.Next came Nani’s removal. With a small tussle with Hammer defense his aggression passed over his head head butting Neil, the guy who was already traumatized by Cristi.Nani fearing a red card fall on the ground creating scenes that could confuse Mike Riley, but Linesmen was spot on.Nani received a red card and was quite shame to watch for his act.If he could have been brave and stood up for what he had done it would have been a better story for him.

Moving from this, the later part turned little dull compared to first 30 minutes of non-stop action.Hammers not intending to serve 10 men advantage, hold their bay and stood to do nothing. But United’s play kept building just to keep their Goal difference quite visible for Chelsea.Carrick driving United’s last and 4th goal to the match. We could have done for 5th on 80 minutes after Fletcher hitting the post on his first touch. The game ended for United with an answer for their thirst to the trophy.

Chelsea won’t getting things on hand like they used to 2 years back.Winning today pushed to safety seats and now only one game remaining to make another Silverware. The next game leaves no importance for Wigan as they have already cleared the relegation line with their 2 goal victory against Villa. This makes it less important for Bruce’s men and would avoid going hard.

I don’t see any worries to our men to Lift another Premier Title.!! Rock on United…

What could have been expected :

Hammers atleast fighting.

Nani Not falling.

Ronaldo scoring a hat-trick.

Whats the story with United right now??

April 29, 2008 By Redhead

The defeat at Stamford bridge was a bitter one.Fouls and cards following all around and still Chelski’ walks out neat. The Evra case is still been looked into and not still sure why the fights went on.Many think it was the  racial comments that pushed the Frenchman to head into a quarrel.

A video-tape is taken into as an evident and Chelsea-United both will be taking a close eye on this. The London Press has already declared that United were the ones who started the fight and bull shits which is not the first time.We have been getting with this along long time and now it doesn’t matter much.

Apart from that injury with Rooney might be looking a serious one.Nothing is sure about his fitness and i doubt him playing at Trafford against Barca. The story with Vida isn’t that hard.He only had concussion and a single tooth broken. As such no one can guarantee will United risk these both against Barca or rest them for EPL.Its a big dilemma which Fergie has to come out.Fergie could have rested Rooney and taken Ronaldo on that.It has happened many times with us.When we go mighty close its that time when we start spilling our fortune.Things start to become shaky. But i still think we can manage out of that.

Barca on other hand are completely out of Spanish Premier. Villa and Real both winning with their games have thrashed Barca of the race and now Champions league is their only silver ware remaining.

Guys its going to be tough night at OT.I cant wait for that.
