What’s up at the Council House?

By now panic must start to set in at the Council House. Other than the signing of Roque Santa Cruz, and Gareth Barry who could not wait for an offer from Rafa but chose for the big bucks, nothing much has happened. Other than failures.

City are said to make a THIRD approach for John Terry with a staggering £40m offer for the international, even though Ancelotti already claimed that Terry is going nowhere. Over here at ManUtd Blog we love JT because he’s always good for some funny lines or slippery. JT certainly is a great defender but one has to wonder if the international £40m worth is. Especially since City seems to aim at Champions League football any time soon but still struggles in the offensive department. Last season the skyblues managed to capture a player who went signed for the wrong squad and for a long time didn’t show his immense talent because of the attitude ‘We’ll never win anything’. Derby No Special Manchester United 2-0 Manchester City (Match Review)

May 11, 2009 By Redhead

I Sorry to miss for my CL report. It has been happening repeatedly that i am missing out champions league drama every now and them. But this one was by far the best.I looks things get better when we approach finals and we get an epic game when we reach finals. However both semi’s were far more exciting than last month in whole. For Chelsea and Barca,Drogba was my man of the Match:P.However,we are heading to Rome facing one of the most attacking team in the world and god knows what consequences we are going to have back then.
Last night’s match was a usual United at home.Fergie didn’t leave much regular absentise.Rooney was on bench and Ferdinand was rested.Apart from that there was no change.League is our top priorty and there was no chance of taking City at ease.
Game commenced and we took early lead through Ronaldo free kick. You can call his geniusness or luck but both ways it was good for United.Ball pitching ahead of keeper piercing through the wall.City was looking to score but their league standings are in such position that winning or losing would hardly matter.
With all contreveries surrounded around Tevez he wasn’t going to be anybody’s shadow.First he came close with an outrageus strike and then we went for a killer.Berba passing him with just one man to beat and Tevez striking from outside the box, shreading keeper into bits.
There was nothing more to be played for Mark Hughes side.Robinho was all pumped when he entered back in after break but lost his air very quickly had go into summer mood.Man City didn’t have enough fire to burst themselves to another level and the game never looked moving from United.Fergie quickly managed to get few of his best men out and one of them being an asshole.(i will be posting a whole lot on him.)
Fergie managed to get Scholes in taking off Park and Rooney in place of Ronaldo. The game ended real quick with only 2 minutes on extraa time and United crusing for another three points. The team on whole had brilliant vision. The game passing had improved over months and definately there are reasons why we can Make 2 in a row.
Just 2 more games to go and we wrap another trophy winning season.United now can focus better on CL finals.

Man Utd v/s Man City :Match Preview

February 10, 2008 By Redhead

United keen for Derby match as SAF and club prepares for the occasion to be a special night.

This will be a night to be remembered. For first time we are having this Derby along with Munich disaster in same week.United has a lot of importance to this day keeping in mind that winning here can cutoff those points against Arsenal. United are going to be strict with this one and has made their point to City fans.So its high time that they start behaving like a good crowd and respect to things other than just rivalry.United are playing in those vintage United T-shirts which were worn by Busby babes.Rooney and Evra are missing this their respective matches due to supension so a lot of changes are going to be seen today. This makes possibility for Welbeck to make his appearance. The 17 year old has already made his appearance in their South Arabia Tour and he looks quite promising. Other than that no changes.United if they win are surely going to close the gap with Arsenal and if lose then were are going close to Chelsea. The day is full drama, guys its all going to be great.
