Red Devils celebrate

With the impressive run Manchester United has been showing this season, it is apparent that Sir Alex Ferguson’s deft management of the Red Devils plays a major role in their league leading performance. For a number of years, the team has actually been on an “expansion” and “team building” phases – something that may not have been apparent to the more casual Manchester United fan. This year though is the year when all of that meticulous preparation has ended and now the fruits of this consolidation are now becoming apparent.

Manchester United has become such a strong team that it does not even need to fully rely on its first team or first stringers. The team’s fringe players are expected to help carry the load for the team too and not just play the role of fixtures at the dugout. This is the kind of dynamic that has made Manchester United not only a formidable force but also a prime example of how to make long term plans for a team.
