supporting our team through thick and thin....

The last Game saved the Team

May 19, 2008 By Redhead

Hello guys,as all footballing action has gone quiet there’s much to talk about things with the team rather than with game.
Chelsea closing on same points on last day, having their easy game on hand while United travelling to Jinxed JJB with couple of changes to team, was sure a dreadful day.I kept flipping channels with Chelsea game now and then literally killing my fingers. But still in that nail bitter, our team keeping cooling fighting, all odds, emerged as winners and went on to win the league second time around.
The after math of a defeat could have been really scary. The team’s tedious pressure and losing after going so close work would have mentally shattered out brains.United right now had the best players and most powerful substitutes compared with any teams. The competition with itself is too much and there’s always a fear of players moving out.I mean we aren’t the team where players like Drogba and Ballack fight for free kicks. But the competition within United is so much that sometimes the best also stays out.

The last Game did save the team. Many players weren’t sure that would it be better staying in United competing with the remaining better ones or try moving out and get a name. But look down, their Aftermath effects of winning.

Ferdinand made his commitment to retire at United.

Vida Went on to extend his contract till 2012.

Carrick sure of staying at United.

Ronaldo still confused but hinting to stay at United.

Carlos Tevez might sign a permanent pact with United

I am not sure but a few could have been other way around if a win wasn’t registered. Also,United boosted themselves enough to fight head on head with Chelsea rather than playing safe against them.

Thats all a club needs. Its no Chelsea shit where players fight for Penalties and Free-kicks.
