aguero

Real Madrid have accepted a £19m bid from VFB Stuttgart for Klaas Jan Huntelaar, the deal depending on the Dutch striker to decide on his future and where he wants to go. After yesterdays rumours around the massively expensive Argentinean international Aguero the question now is ‘Huntelaar or Aguero, with or without Berbatov’?

Huntelaar is several years older than Aguero and has only experienced the Dutch League before his 6 rather successful months at Real Madrid (40% strike rate over 20 appearances). Sergio Aguero is 5 years younger but almost 3 times as expensive. Where’s the difference and who would we prefer at Old Trafford? Can we do without Berbatov’s assists?

I think only SAF will be able to decide this one but as far as I’m concerned my preferences go to the Argentinean international. He’s fast on the counter and although very often he will penetrate too deep he still seems to have the eye for the incoming striker. Huntelaar from his part has a much more powerful shot from the second line, something we have missed ever since the glory days of Paul Scholes. Something Benzema could have brought us, but also something we can expect from Michael Carrick when he finally discovers his distance shot again. Continue reading »

Sean McGinty

Sean McGinty, a 15 year old talent has completed his dream move from Charlton to Manchester United. After 3 years at Charlton he had played for their Under 18 and Reserves squads already.

Gabriel Obertan also completed his move to ManUtd and signed a 4 your contract with the Red Devils. Obertan will miss the pre-season and tour to Asia due to an injury.

So far SAF has signed three players: a 23 year Ecuadorian international, a French Under 21 international and an English 15 year old talent. Who’s next? Huntelaar for £20m?

Last but not least, if you haven’t joined us yet go and become a fan of our Facebook page now. I’ll wait here for you!

Jan Klaas HuntelaarAccording to media reports Real Madrid might sell several of it’s Dutch stars after President Perez claimed that the Spanish squad needs has become to large and needs to be trimmed down. The cull could be as big as up to 10 players and Ruud van Nistelrooy, Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneijder, Rafael van der Vaart, Royston Drenthe and Klaas Jan Huntelaar are all tipped to depart the Spanish capital.

Should we be interested in any of these players, can they improve our squad?

The news are kind of confirmed.Wayne Rooney is out with is virus and is likely to miss season’s first few games. The misery goes on with our other players too such as Ronaldo(ankle operation and mentally sandwiched between Real and United),Anderson (Country duties) and Carrick (not 100% fit).Already United are running late with summer signings and i haven’t seen any hope what can we do to that. Also that goes with the Berbatov issue as well which is more or less similar to Ronaldo. So forget Berba and look at our possibilities.

Fergie is right now having a kind of similar young fledglings which we had back few years ago.The likes of Brazilian duos and Cambpell in the squad is kind of an advantage to us.Mauncho is also fantastic and Possebon a replica of Hargo. So we can’t say that we are empty.

However, apart from the missing line-up for strikers Fergie won’t fumble in his decisions and will keep his patience to get the best out. Also Tevez’s presence in team is an upper hand for us.So Fergie is thinking more than enough to sign one piece ahead.

Ever since we lost our target man,Huntelaar was United‘s usual rumor boy.But he has still not moved in the transfer window for me.Anyone hardly get his news anywhere and what we get is not even half- prefect. So he’s off my list along with Berbatov.
I such desperate times United are looking for any possible striker with quality in standards of United.

My plans if we don’t sign any single signing it won’t be that harsh. The forward section is the only tussle which can be compromised by our lads up front.Fraizer Campbell and Tevez can go really well along with a third striker cum substitute,Manucho. He’s still having is work permit issues but will be soon in as season start. Also Continue reading »

Still no signings up and the season is almost getting ready to start. The crisis upfront is still not cleared and there’s more pepper to this talk.
Things are really getting confirmed that Ronaldo is sure not moving out of Old Trafford campaign.Ronaldo was still having his rest after under going surgery but now he’s brought back to United to have talk about the present issue. Continue reading »

Last season it was double for us.Played our lives out and made the matches look easy.Though things are looking different this time. Not regarding with the team or players but more with the competitors.Massive million signings and new blood of youth filling premier ship is making our ties really uneasy. So what are the sections we can still get even better… Continue reading »

So we had another win at our tour.Pirates were brought down by one goal scored by United’s Lee Martin. There was no more action apart from that after playing couple of tiring matches.Really i won’t be seeing anymore after watching United’s match against Kaizer Chefs. But hey if you want to see the future United you have to follow their games.Read the full report over here.

Yesterday there was a small warning coming from our Cheif Executive,David Gill warning Real for creating the present situation. He added United has already declared that Ronaldo was not for sale since United’s match at Zurich so there’s no point persuading anyone. Not a single bid would be welcomed. Also Fergie has warned Ronaldo that moving to Real is a big mistake and it will be hard for him to get the flair what he has at present.Giving examples of best players who left United in their prime time.

Apart from that Fergie confessed and pointed that Rooney is more like a mid-fielder rather than a natural striker.Rooney as such his not a clinical striker but his more like  play maker. So even if he contributes nothing at Goals we still feel he’s the only man for United.Once he has controlled his aggression he can be suited more comfortably in mid-field roles as its the area where we have maximum tackles.

But lets see what more are we going to see from this transfer season. If Berba’s the deal is in we can put Rooney behind tevez and Berbatov making more like 2-1-3-4 kind of formation.

Even Huntelaar will do good for us. :)

Its all filling in my head. The players name and still no clear view for which will be United’s next signing.Ever since The Real issue has erupted the transfer table seems so uncomfortable.I mean had FIFA’s boss not interrupted in this matter it won’t have turned out to be a issue.Modern Day slave!!.Thats what you get after standing with a player for years who could have turned into an infamous man after being villain to England’s exit ,a man famous for showing fingers to his home club.Talent will only be talent if its in right area. Jan Klaas HuntelaarWith all the internationals spread all over Europe to play for their country, trying to qualify for European 2008 next summer, one would have expected last week to be rather quiet on the ManU front, but the media have given us some of their best shots. And so did SAF.

On Wednesday SAF admitted that the sale of Jaap Stam in 2001 an error was and the Dutchman an all time great is. Stam was the last solid rock at OT and according to Alex he still plays on a great level for Ajax, although already 35.

Can we just bury our heads in the sand over yesterday’s result, please? It’s just more of the same and one really doesn’t want another post of whinging and “if onlys“. Suffice it to say that our best players were our old ones, Scholesy and Giggsy, that Phil, the player we let go for a song, showed Smithy how one should play the midfield anchor role and that Van der Sar hardly covered himself in glory. The one bright spot? That the decision to play Ji-Sung Park shows how much better a team we are with him in the team- for example the way he brings in the opposition fullback and gives the room for Gary to do his stuff.

Depressing…what more can one say? Only that if we had been Chelsea, John Terry would have headed home from a corner in the last minute of injury time.

So WHO are we going to buy to help us out of the doldrums? Your comments much appreciated. One website, Football Rumours is full of ideas:

OUT:

O’Shea (Birmingham-3.5M)

Miller (Leeds-300k)

Fletcher (Aston Villa-4M)

Saha (Auxerre-3M)

Ebanks Blake (Leeds-700k)

Solskjaer (Malmo FF-free)

Steele (Colchester-100k)

Fortune (Charlton-1M)

Cooper (Stoke-free)

IN:

Barreto (NEC Nijmegen-2M)

Ambrosini (AC Milan-5M)

Vermooten (Leeds-loan)

Pienaar (Ajax-4M)

Huntelaar (Heerenveen-7M)

Hart (Shrewsbury-1M)

Hargreaves (Bayern Munich-7M)

Other names mentioned: Joaquin for 12M from Real Betis, Freddie Adu and Theo Walcott, who United would loan stright back to Southampton until the end of the season. Also that MU have reached a “gentleman’s agreement” with Gattuso for an end-of-season move.

Sir Alex Ferguson will also stay at the club as manager.

Phew! Of course 90% of the above is complete and utter nonsense, but there is no doubt that we MUST become busy in the January transfer market. Rossi looks an excellent prospect to take over from RVN long-term, so I’m not sure we need to be spending money in that department. On the wings we’re looking good with Park and Giggsy coming back from injury. So it’s back to the old chesnut of midfield again. If the rumours are true about Keano going to Real Madrid, as the BBC is reporting, then a serious opportunity to grab Thomas Gravesen must be on the cards, completing the circle and reuniting him with former teammate Wayne Rooney.

Certainly, Real Madrid are not denying the rumours:

“Roy is on a list of possible signings we are discussing,
” said comunications chief Antonio Garcia Ferreras.

After all is said and done, confidence is what we are lacking at the moment. To be fair, our score tally at this stage of the season is perfectly acceptable for a normal season pre-Abramovich. What we need is some confidence and then a “run of form“. We can only hope that in the meantime, for the first time since Mourinho took over, Chelsea start slipping up and losing a bit of momentum and confidence themselves,
