With Manchester United’s impressive 5 – 0 win over Portsmouth, Sir Alex Ferguson is reiterating his admiration for his team and their chances for a record fourth consecutive Premier League championship.
The key to the Red Devils’ impressive win was the impressive performances of many of its players. Wayne Rooney scored his 23rd goal for the season, which ties his personal best. Nani has also been reinvigorated and looks like to be on a roll — and Berbatov, Carrick and Wilson are putting in their share of the burden.
Fergie said that a big key to the Red Devils’ success is the team’s patience. Despite the pressure that the team faces in their matches, everyone takes their time and wait for opportunities to arrive — and then they explode.
With their next match against Aston Villa, expect the team to put their best foot forward in order to solidify their position in the league table.

With Manchester United strongly in the running for winning the Premiere League Championship once again this year, Man Utd fans are becoming increasingly stoked about the team’s prospects even with strong competition facing them in the coming months.
But the enthusiasm is not being relegated to fans. Even the members of the team are becoming increasingly optimistic about their chances for a record fourth consecutive championship. And no one is more optimistic than Manchester United Captain Gary Neville, who has been quoted as saying “It is in our hands now and it has not been like that for a while.”
Key to the Red Devils’ success if Wayne Rooney’s amazing run this season. Rooney has been on fire and is ably replacing the void that Cristiano Ronaldo has left. the striker has already scored his 23rd goal this season, which already equals his career best.
Neville wants the Red Devils to maintain their winning form, which is needed now more than ever as they prepare to play AC Milan in the Champions League.
All eyes are now on Nani, who has been playing extremely well in their last few games. If Nani gets his groove, he’ll be a perfect partner to Rooney.

Footie fans should earmark the upcoming Manchester United – Arsenal clash because Sir Alex Ferguson has declared that it is their “biggest game of the season.”
While the Red Devils secured a finals slot in the Carling Cup last Wednesday against Manchester City, back at the PRemier League, Chelsea was able to wrest the top position from the Reds and with still another match slated. This means that Manchester United sees the Arsenal clash as a must-win at this point. Especially since Sir Alex sees Arsenal as a big obstacle in getting a record fourth consecutive title.
A win is important since with two matches, Chelsea could potentially get four points ahead of the Red Devils, and Sir Alex doesn’t want to play catch up with a relatively big margin. And with Arsenal potentially in the running as well, they will do all they can to thwart ManU — the ingredients of an epic battle.

Cristiano Ronaldo may have had a bit of a troubled relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson by the end of his last season for Manchester United because of his very vocal desire to leave the team but now that he is with Real Madrid, the Portuguese winger has come out to say that he misses being with the Red Devils.
Ronaldo was transferred to Real after an unprecedented £80million fee this summer. But even though he misses life at Old Trafford he still maintains that he made the right choice in going to Real Madrid.
Ronaldo has also dismissed comments that Manchester United has been struggling without him this season. He said that even though the team has lost the last two games they are still the second placers in the league.
I think that it’s very sportsmanly of Ronaldo to say such things about his old club. We’ve often seen players who transfer to a new team lambasting his former teammates and the manager just to justify why they had to transfer in the first place. Ronaldo has proven that you can transfer without having to show any kind of animosity to your former teammates. Yes, he may be seen as a little bit of a brat by most fans but he’s shown that he can also be a stand-up guy.

It didn’t come as a surprise at a ll.
Ryan Giggs has signed a new contract with Manchester United, extending his stay with the Red Devils until the summer of 2011.
The new one-year deal will mean that Giggsy will be staying at Old Trafford past his upcoming 37th birthday. Giggs has been declared the BBC Sports Personality of the Year and with good reason, the man has been in fine form this season. We all know that Giggs is a stable and consistent player but this year looks like he has upped his game and he’s been performing exceptionally well. In the Fantasy League I play in, practically everyone has him on every team roster, and that’s a fair indicator of the numbers he’s been putting out this season. Even Sir Alex Ferguson couldn’t help but remark about the amazing form Giggs has been showing this season.

Manchester United’s Rio Ferdinand has seen scant action this season.
The Red Devil center-back has been injury plagued of late and has not played for the team since the Red Devils’ 2-0 loss against Liverpool last October. He’s been sidelined because of a calf injury that has been traced back to a back problem he’s had in the past.
There’s been much speculation on Ferdinand’s injury including talk that his injury is far more serious than what is being reported. But Sir Alex Ferguson has repeatedly denied that Ferdinand’s injury will be long-term. Fergie has also expressed confidence that Rio will be back soon to help in the Red Devils’ cause and to defend the team’s Premier League championship.
It’s no surprise that Manchester United’s defensive capabilities has been severely tested because of the injuries its defense has suffered. Wes Brown, John O’Shea, Jonny Evans and Gary Neville have all been injured and are now in the sidelines slowly recovering from their injuries and helplessly watching their team as it tries to maintain its position in the Premier League table. But in fairness, the injuries of some of the team’s top defensive players show Fergie’s strong knack for picking the right boys because the team has only conceded three goals since Ferdinand last appeared.
If your reserve members are playing this well, it shows just how deep the talent is in Old Trafford.

Aston Villa invites United to Villa Park as preparing they prepare to put United out of the big four league.Aston’s win will put them ahead of United and inch them into top 4 teams.
There last match against Arsenal was a stunner.Winning against Gunners at home was a shocking one for me as United did fail to do so against the same team and same venue. The bad side also we have today is that Berbatov is out of the side.He suffered a hamstring injury with the game against Serbians. He’s out for another 2 games!!
Rooney is hopefully back.Tevez and Campbell are also our possible strike force so there’s not much to worry about.Whole team is almost fit excluding Hargo and Scholes which leaves Fergie with loads of option.
Aston at Villa Park is tough but United’s past meetings have turned all around positive for us.
If you are thinking to bet ur money in this game please avoid it.Atleast till first half.
Even though United will win i think :D

United playing Everton in an away encounter to clinch another 3 points in League.
Last match i dozed off watching Celtic and United match.Well thats my first time and that actually shows that we do grow older day by day.I later managed to see whole match and to tell you it was worth watching.Though first half was very unpleasant to standard of the matches we are playing in recent games, second half was equally good.Berba and Rooney are at present are working exceptionally well.I sometimes feel Tevez and Ronaldo feel a bit uncomfortable playing around them.Anyways lets hope we follow our form against Everton.
Everton will be the match that we are going to have today.Thats at 1200 BST.United are on there three match winning streak and i dont see any reasons for them to lost today.Everton are good at home but United at present are best. Our massive climbings in recent times have been one of the reasons for players to play good.Line-ups will be pretty much same.Evra still hasn’t recovered from his injury.O’Shea will continue with his position.Giggs can be seen today replacing Nani.
I will be doing a Live score so u can be here all time.
Till then u predict the scoreline for me.

Ohh shit.. I didnt even knew that we had Celtic match today!!! Clock’s running too fast for me these days and thought it was Monday.Well though i would still like to make few points for Today’s tie.
Against Celtics,we are without Ronaldo and Evra.Evra is injured during Albion game while Ronaldo is kept off as he’s still “recovering” from injury. The team at present looks in perfect shape so we won’t miss them too much.Evra will be replaced by O’Shea while for Ronaldo we have plenty of options. Only having just two post for this month its good to get back over here. This been hell busy one for me.Anyways, these international break did buy me some time to settle with my work and now i am finally back.
Quickly getting with the match preview.United’s last game was upto EPL level. We still have room to improve but for time being with few players we cannot expect more.Carrick and Hargo are still out with their injuries.Long time since they both were together at field.Hargreaves as such had bad past with injuries and it will be quite creepy for us if he doesnt recover well before UFEA legs.
We are also missing a few more players with their international duties.Anderson and Tevez both are likely to miss today’s game with their late arrival.Rest of team is quite prefect.Ronaldo and Rooney both being in expection form.
Match is at Trafford, so there are no chances to losing against West Brom.So we can instead utilize this chance as a more booster and manage as much as goals we can.
Prediction:-Easy Game and Good Score.
4-1 Easy win!!!
