O’Shea disappointed but realistic

O'Shea

Manchester United John O’Shea has expressed to the media that he is disappointed for not being able to permanently hold a first team place with the Red Devils. But before naysayers jump on this statement and start trumpeting about discontentment within the team, O’Shea added that he thinks that it is a small price to pay for the chance to win the Premiership again at the end of this season.

O’Shea has been relegated as a late substitute to the other players in the team for this particular season, and despite a first place start in the Red Devils’ win over Watford this week, it is likely that he will be benched again for the team’s match against Tottenham.

He himself assessed that the reason for his “demotion” is that Manchester United is thriving and that the players are more or less all fit and without injuries. He acknowledges that this is also the same reason why the team is at the top right now, with a commanding six point lead over Chelsea.
